These brilliant-crimson bulbs are rich in antioxidants. Harvest spring onions when young for maximum colour, or leave until they grow into bulbs that can be used like shallots. Visually interesting, use the green stems as you would other spring onions.

Partial to full sun. Plant 20-30 cm apart for best results in planter boxes or the ground depending on the herb variety.??Water the soil only, not the plant.
