Hanepoot Grape vines are deciduous and bear bunches of round to oval berries. Hanepoot is a cultivar name in South Africa for an ancient grape Muscat of Alexandria. It is used in winemaking, a popular fresh sweet berry and also used to dry to have raisins.

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water regularly, especially when they are flowering and setting fruit. Apply a balanced fertilizer.?Always prune after fruiting.?Growing a fruit or nut?tree will require that you dig your hole?double?the diameter of the plant bag??and at least 600mm-1m deep. First cut the round underside of the plant bag before you place the tree into the hole, then slide the remaining plant bag off before you cover with soil. When you cover the roots with soil, you tamp it down as you go so you can ensure that the roots are completely touching the dirt.
